General Function

The Associate Optometrist leads in delivering high-quality eye care, collaborating with the store team and management to meet key performance indicators and serve as a brand ambassador driven by passion and high standards.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

1. Ensure executional excellence and positive results in partnership with the Store Manager and team.
2. Exceed results through strong KPI management and accountability.
3. Promote the brand as the leading optical provider in the community.
4. Act as a successful stakeholder within the organization and local market.
5. Prioritize patient/customer needs and deliver excellent service.
6. Strive to exceed all KPIs.
7. Provide unsurpassed patient service by addressing visual lifestyle needs, making eyewear recommendations, explaining eye exams, and ensuring patient understanding.
8. Ensure accurate diagnoses and appropriate recommendations, establishing positive doctor-patient relationships.
9. Utilize technology effectively to enhance patient experiences.
10. Maintain office systems and state licensure, fulfilling continuing education requirements.
11. Train and guide team members using company programs.
12. Provide timely, constructive feedback and foster a positive, motivating culture.
13. Encourage decision-making at the closest level to the patient.
14. Lead by example and maintain a safe, professional environment.

Basic Qualifications
