Job summary

dsm-firmenich in St. Louis, MO is seeking an Associate Operator, Production Technician I. This on-site role focuses on safe handling of raw materials, setup of machines, and supporting production through to labeling and sanitation.

You will work as part of a team, contributing to efficient manufacturing and adherence to GMP and safety policies. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, forklift certification, basic math skills, and the stamina to stand most of the day.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/ GED, preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of Diploma
• Previous food plant experience; forklift truck experience and license required
• Basic Math skills required
• Ability to be on your feet 60% - 90% of the day
• Frequently lift a 35 lb. product hose; frequently move, lift, pull & push up to 50 lbs
• Willingness and ability to work in a facility with minimal temperature control, exposed to local temperature variations (hot & cold)

A great Production Technician I is a teammate that places safety first. The Production Technician I in handling raw materials, staging materials for processing and operating pallet jacks or forklifts. Have the ability to work as a team player with different sets of skills.

Your Key Responsibilities

Salary

The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Salary $24.00 per hour.
