Position Overview
This role is part of the Verra Command Center (VCC), responsible for remote technical support of roadside monitoring and enforcement in the US and Canada. The Associate Operations Technician supports operations by learning troubleshooting, site monitoring, and device uptime management. This entry-level position focuses on maintaining roadside network devices to ensure optimal operation.
Essential Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Maintain detailed records of all documentation.
- Communicate effectively with team members to resolve issues.
- Coordinate with support teams for troubleshooting and downtime reporting.
- Keep documentation and databases accurate and up-to-date.
- Work all shifts in a 24/7 environment, including on-call rotations.
- Review red-light camera locations and ensure equipment functions properly.
- Work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Manage multiple tasks, including ticket management and follow-up.
- Participate in planning and daily stand-ups.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
- Identify opportunities to improve services.
- Adhere to SLAs and KPIs.
- Learn new technologies and process improvements.
- Manage work orders effectively, following up and closing tickets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, with 1+ years in operations or troubleshooting, or equivalent experience/education.
- Preferred associate’s degree in IT, computer science, or related field.
- Preferred knowledge of computing, networking, and data troubleshooting.
- Preferred experience with data management and information technology.
- Ability to interpret data for decision-making.
- Experience managing multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other related applications like Power BI, Visio, Outlook.
- Successful completion of the Nlets background check.
