Our comprehensive portfolio of over 400 products is fully integrated and built to serve our customers across the full spectrum of their eye health needs throughout their lives. Our iconic brand is built on the deep trust and loyalty of our customers established over our 170-year history. We have a significant global research, development, manufacturing and commercial footprint of approximately 13,000 employees and a presence in approximately 100 countries, extending our reach to billions of potential customers across the globe. We have long been associated with many of the most significant advances in eye health, and we believe we are well positioned to continue leading the advancement of eye health in the future.

Bausch + Lomb is seeking a high-performing Associate Ocular Sales Representative to participate in an 18-24 month sales development program designed to prepare high-potential talent for future field sales opportunities within the organization. In this role, you will partner closely with field sales leadership, Eye Care Sales Specialists, and cross-functional teams to execute territory business plans, engage Eye Care Practitioners and Health Care Providers, and promote the appropriate use of approved Bausch + Lomb products and services.

As a flexible field support resource, you will gain exposure to a variety of customers, markets, and business challenges while providing support across priority and strategically important territories. The role may involve up to 50% travel and support customers across multiple geographies and time zones based on business needs. Candidates must be willing and able to relocate within 18 months of hire to pursue future field sales opportunities and career growth within Bausch + Lomb.

Responsibilities
  • Execute territory business plans, call plans, and customer engagement strategies to meet or exceed sales goals, key performance metrics, and business continuity needs within assigned geographies delivering sales calls and approved resources.
  • Provide in person and virtual field coverage for open, priority, or targeted territories by engaging the right customers with the right message and appropriate frequency through video, phone, digital, and other approved channels.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with customers, field sales leadership, customer service, marketing, and multiple stakeholders.
  • Use approved marketing, sales, and promotional resources to support customer education, product awareness, clinical discussions, demonstrate strong competitive knowledge to support credible customer conversations and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Leverage CRM, virtual engagement platforms, Microsoft Office, and other digital tools to document customer interactions, track account progress, analyze territory opportunities, and maintain accurate records.
  • Complete all administrative responsibilities, reporting, compliance requirements, and business documentation accurately and participate in all training programs and meetings.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with focus in business, communications, marketing, operations, and medical but will accept applicants with at least 2+ years of successful B2B or healthcare experience demonstrating transferable skills sets needed for success in role in lieu of degree.
  • Phone/Virtual selling capability to open new access and service existing customers, including proficiency with video, phone, CRM, Microsoft Office, and digital engagement technologies used to support remote customer interactions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills with the ability to educate customers and work effectively across internal teams.
  • Self-motivated, accountable, ethical, and able to work independently from a professional home office environment with reliable high-speed internet.
  • Ability to support targeted accounts across assigned time zones and travel as needed for key customer meetings, field coverage, sales meetings, programs, or trade shows.
  • Valid driver’s license and driving record which meets Bausch + Lomb company standards.

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
