DoorDash is seeking an Associate to join their New Verticals team in Seattle focused on strategic and operational initiatives across grocery, convenience, alcohol, and retail sectors. You will work on enhancing product quality and improving efficiencies through data analysis and cross-functional collaboration with teams such as Machine Learning and Engineering.
The ideal candidate has 1-3+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s Degree, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The role offers a competitive compensation package and flexibility in work arrangements.
New Verticals is an exciting team at DoorDash that is building and scaling new ways to delight our customers beyond restaurant deliveries (e.g., Grocery, Convenience, Alcohol, Retail). Our Catalog, Fulfillment and Logistics team has three major mandates to effectively onboard merchants, fulfill every order with speed & accuracy and improve our logistics network. We are able to do this by identifying efficiencies, building product toolings and launching operational processes at scale. You will own metrics, pull operational & product levers and drive impactful results across our Grocery, Convenience, Alcohol and Retail businesses.
We are looking to build out our team with an Associate who will focus on a variety of strategic and operational initiatives on the New Verticals Fulfillment pod. You will lead the scoping, go‑to‑market, and iteration of cutting‑edge product features to help DoorDash improve order quality across our Convenience, Grocery, Alcohol, and Retail businesses. You will work on improving Dasher tooling & technology to make them more efficient in store. Your work will be highly visible and impactful, and involve partnering with the Machine Learning, Engineering, Product, and Data Science teams. You will sit in the Fulfillment, Logistics & Catalog group within our New Verticals Strategy & Operations organization and report into a Manager. This is an individual contributor position.
Actual compensation within the pay range listed below will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. Base salary is localized according to employee work location.
