Peloton in New York City is seeking an Associate of Music Supervision to join the creative heartbeat behind our sound. Based at our NYC headquarters, you will drive music programming, curation, and strategy for Instructors, shaping class series and high-profile artist tie-ins.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Music Supervision, North America, you will collaborate with instructors and producers, liaise with labels, and ensure licensing compliance across the internal music platform.

Qualifications

• 3+ years at a record label, music publisher, or sync agency in a creative supervision role.
• Strong understanding of major and indie rights holders; experience working with talent is a plus.
• Passion for music, pop culture, and fitness with a pulse on trends and discovery.
• Highly organized, proactive, and able to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

About The Role

As the Associate of Music Supervision, you will be part of the creative heartbeat behind the sound of Peloton. Based in our NYC headquarters and reporting to the Sr. Manager of Music Supervision, North America, you will drive music programming, curation, and strategy for our world-class Instructors. You’ll sit at the intersection of fitness, pop culture, and the music industry - shaping signature class series, elevating playlist quality, and executing high-profile artist tie-ins that motivate millions of Members daily.

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON

• Creative Guidance & Talent Collaboration: Partner 1-on-1 with designated Instructors and Producers to conceptualize signature class series, elevate playlist quality standards, and curate music discovery for upcoming classes.
• Industry Relations: Liaise with record labels and music publishers to secure rights approvals, drive promotional tie-ins, and stay ahead of music industry trends and breaking releases.
• Cultural Strategy & Initiatives: Conceptualize and execute high-impact music programming for company-wide cultural moments (e.g., Black History Month, Women's History Month, Pride Month) and themed class series.
• Music Platform Clearances & Curation: Contribute to weekly music clearances, curate editorial playlists, and maintain compliance with all licensing protocols within the internal music platform.

YOU BRING TO PELOTON

• Music Industry Experience: 3+ years at a record label, music publisher, or sync agency in a creative sync/supervision role, with a strong understanding of major and indie music rightsholders. Experience working with talent preferred.
• Passion for Pop Culture & Fitness: A deep love for music, wellness, and pop culture, with a sharp pulse on cultural moments and new music discovery.
• Agility & Independence: Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented; able to execute complex tasks flawlessly, pivot quickly under tight deadlines, and solve problems independently.

Base Salary Range

$106,300—$125,750 USD

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including, without limitation, experience and business objectives and if the location for the job changes. Our base salary is just one component of Peloton’s competitive total rewards strategy that also includes annual equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan as well as other region-specific health and welfare benefits.
