Job summary

Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club is seeking an Associate - Minor League Strength and Conditioning Specialist in Phoenix, AZ to assist in implementing and supervising the minor league strength program for performance enhancement and durability. You will work with coaches, team managers, and health staff to ensure consistent application of conditioning principles.

You will also contribute to education of players on nutrition and performance analytics, supporting travel logistics and related duties

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a strength and conditioning field from a four-year college.
• CSCS certification preferred.

Job Description

As part of Strength and Conditioning Department, the Associate Minor League Strength and Conditioning will assist the overall supervision and implementation of the strength and conditioning program for minor league players. This position will evaluate, motivate, and educate athletes in all aspects as it relates to performance enhancement and durability. Will also assist with nutritional evaluation for players at the assigned minor league affiliate club. Core duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

• Daily communication with Senior Coordinator - Minor League Strength & Conditioning, Minor League S&C Specialists, Minor League Health Staff, Team Manager, and Coaches.
• Assist with the implementation of strength and conditioning program consistent with principles of Milwaukee Brewers Strength & Conditioning.
• Assist with auxiliary tasks related to team operations, including but not limited to travel, rooming lists, hotels, catering receiving and set up.

The ideal candidate must have completed a bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university with a degree in a strength and conditioning related field. CSCS preferred.

• Work in close proximity and partnership with our performance science dept, rehabilitation team, and strength and conditioning leadership group.
• Exposure to performance nutrition philosophy and strategy.
