Base pay range

$35.00/hr - $40.00/hr

Our client, a luxury watch brand, is seeking an Associate Merchandiser to join their team. This role is temp-to-perm!

Responsibilities:

• Summarize analytics including but not limited to sales performance by brand, by article, by store to prepare the necessary go forward assortment recommendations on a regular basis in the preparation of orders / reorders

• Support gathering market by market insights to analyze regional trends and competitive analysis by brand and by store

• Identify key attribute opportunities across brands by store based on the monitoring of stocks by location with KPI’s provided by the Category Management team

• Analyze sales trends across the Brand matrix by location inclusive of assessing requests from stores to impact go forward growth opportunities

• Create ad-hoc reports as needed

• Create support materials for Brand Strategy sessions

• Conduct local NY area store visits as well as internal communication with store sales and management teams

• Other responsibilities and tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• 3+ years of experience in merchandise/planning, preferably in luxury goods/jewelry
• Deep understanding of retail math, forecasting techniques, and planning best practices
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
