Job description

Anchor Within Counseling is an outpatient group practice looking for associate therapists to join our radical & relational team. We offer racially-specific and culturally-specific services to everyone, and prioritize care to Black and Brown community members. We are currently hiring for part-time and full-time therapists.

Full-Time & Part-Time Available
Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct individual and family therapy sessions using evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused, narrative, emotion focused therapy, family systems.
  2. Assess clients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to provide comprehensive care.
  4. Complete risk assessments and provide crisis intervention support as needed.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  6. Stay informed about current research and best practices in the field of child and family therapy.
Qualifications:
  1. Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or a related field.
  2. Valid Oregon pre-license to deliver mental health care.
Culturally-Specific Skills Desired:
  1. Knowledge and ability to serve Black/African and/or Latino populations from a racial trauma lens.
  2. Willingness to work with clients who ascribe to religious/spiritual beliefs as protective factors.
