An Associate Medical Physicist is responsible for performing radiation safety / quality assurance testing of diagnostic imaging equipment and assisting with the implementation of the radioactive materials programJob Responsibilities : Performs quality assurance testing of diagnostic x-ray equipment includingRadiographicFluoroscopicComputed Tomographic, Including CBCTComputed RadiographicMagnetic resonance imagingUltrasound ImagingPrimary Diagnostic MonitorsOther tasks include : Occupational radiation exposure monitoringRS / QA Audits & Meetings 2.Performs all Radiation Safety / Quality Assurance testing and report preparation in a timely manner, i.e. within 2 weeks of due date. Attendance to all departmental meetings is required. The salary range for the role is $117,107.95 – $150,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
