Job summary

Jackson Health System seeks a board-certified or eligible Urgent Care Physician to cover MD/DO level duties across multiple UHealth Urgent Care sites in Miami-Dade County. You will perform examinations, order tests, manage diagnoses, and provide treatment plans within Florida regulations.

Requirements include Florida license, DEA licensure, and active BLS/ACLS; residency in Family Medicine is preferred. This is a part-time role with benefits on a multi-site basis.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with Florida license and DEA licensure.
• Board certified or eligible in Family Medicine.
• Active BLS/ACLS through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical examinations, evaluations, and treatment for urgent care patients.
• Obtain health history, conduct exams, and order necessary tests/imaging.
• Diagnose conditions and provide or direct treatment plans.
• Refer patients to specialists when needed and ensure appropriate follow-up.
