Job summary

The role advances regulatory readiness, reduces healthcare-associated infections, and coordinates system-wide infection prevention initiatives.

You will participate in local and system committees, mentor staff, and work with hospital leadership to ensure compliance with accreditation

Qualifications

• MD degree from an LCME‑accredited medical school.
• Board-certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases.
• Eligible for Michigan medical licensure.

Responsibilities

• Lead infection prevention and AMS programs in collaboration with IPC/AMS team.
• Oversee regulatory readiness and accreditation compliance.
• Coordinate infection control initiatives across hospital departments.
• Mentor staff and participate in hospital quality and safety committees.
