Job description

Are you an experienced medical writer looking for an exciting new opportunity? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoy working with international teams across different time zones? Oxford PharmaGenesis is looking for an Associate Medical Director to join our growing team!

As an Associate Medical Director, you will have responsibility for creating and delivering high-quality health science communication materials for our clients. Much of the work will be focused on medical affairs projects (slide decks, lexicons, etc.), strategic support and some publications. You will work as part of a transatlantic team with UK-based colleagues and US-based clients, contributing to key discussions and ensuring high-impact deliverables.

We are looking for a talented Associate Medical Director with:

• 6+ years of experience in a writing-focused role in the medical communications sector
• an advanced science degree, for example MS, PhD (preferably in life sciences), MD, PharmD or MPH
• excellent communication skills and the confidence to contribute to client calls
• sound knowledge of good publications practices (e.g. GPP3 and ICMJE).

Experience in cardiology and hematology is beneficial but not essential.

This position is fully remote, but candidates must reside in and have the right to work in the USA.
