Job summary

Providence Swedish Health Services is seeking an Associate Medical Assistant-Registered (MA-R) to support licensed practitioners with basic patient care and a mix of administrative and clinical duties in our Seattle-area clinics.

You will perform delegated tasks according to policies, provide compassionate patient care, and help keep front- and back-office operations running smoothly in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Washington Medical Assistant Registration within 60 days of hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
• Coursework/Training: Medical Assistant, Medical Office Assistant, Medical Secretary or Health Unit Coordinator/Clerk.
• 6 months Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed practitioners with basic patient care.
• Perform administrative and clinical duties under established policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain patient safety and confidentiality.

Job description

The Associate Medical Assistant-Registered (MA-R) works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing basic patient care to assigned patients.
