Job Description:


Associate Medical Assistant Registered/MA-Rs are new graduate MAs with less than 6 months of professional experience. As an Associate MA-R, you'll be welcomed into the clinical setting with mentorship and guidance to propel your career. As a Medical Assistant, you'll help with administrative and clinical tasks like scheduling appointments, updating information in EPIC and taking patients' vital signs at appointments. After 6 months of successful employment and competency testing, Associate Medical Assistants are promoted to Level-2 Medical Assistants and provided with additional responsibilities.

Required Qualifications:



  • Within 60 days of hire Washington Medical Assistant Registration

  • Within 30 days of hire National Provider BLS - American Heart Association


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Coursework/Training - Medical Assistant, Medical Office Assistant, Medical Secretary or Health Unit Coordinator/Clerk

  • 6 months Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting
