Providence Swedish Medical Center in Seattle is seeking an Associate Medical Assistant to join our pediatric clinic team. You will work alongside licensed providers delivering hands-on patient care, taking vitals, vaccinating, and supporting clinic operations to ensure smooth patient flow.

Competenze

  • Graduate from an accredited medical assisting program with hands-on clinical training.
  • Completion of a medical assistant apprenticeship program.
  • Two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces.
  • Minimum one year of medical assistant experience including vital signs, injections, and medication administration.
  • Washington Medical Assistant Certification on hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
  • Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting (0-6 months).

Required Qualifications:
  • Coursework/Training Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants Or
  • Coursework/Training Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program Or
  • Coursework/Training Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces Or
  • Coursework/Training Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration Or
  • Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification
  • Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting (0-6 months)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 6 months Prior experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment.
  • 6 months Previous experience in a healthcare setting working with an Electronic Health record (EHR).

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
