About the Role:

We’re looking for an ambitious and curious Associate Media Directorto lead paid media strategy and execution across key digital channels. In this role, you’ll oversee a team of specialists, serve as a senior strategic partner to clients, and guide integrated, insight-led campaigns that drive measurable results. You’ll bring deep channel expertise and a strong point of view, while fostering operational excellence and cross-team collaboration.

This is a leadership opportunity for someone who thrives at the intersection of media strategy, client service, and executional precision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of holistic paid media strategies aligned to business goals, audience insights, and market trends
  • Guide audience strategy with key inputs from clients
  • Oversee media investments across all digital platforms (Search, Social, Programmatic, Video, Display, Audio, DOOH, CTV, etc.)
  • Serve as a senior client contact, providing guidance on media best practices, performance, and emerging opportunities
  • Partner with integrated teams to ensure campaigns are insight-led, creative is optimized for media environments, and performance data informs future planning
  • Implement agency thought leadership on key digital channels and create operational best practices
  • Stay current on media landscape changes, platform updates, privacy regulations, and industry innovations to inform client recommendations
  • Oversee investment in media technology and tools for the agency; determine key areas of need

Digital Media Campaign Execution

  • Spearhead media platform planning and execution, bringing deep hands-on expertise with core channels like LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Meta Business Manager, Google Ads, and programmatic platforms
  • Manage, mentor, and support a team of specialists to ensure campaign execution and optimization
  • Implement training calendars and agendas where needed
  • Own media financials, including forecasting, pacing, budget management, and media billing accuracy
  • Implement process and workflow standards to drive efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across the paid media team
  • Manage campaign set-up and QA, trafficking workflows, and ensure compliance with client and platform requirements
  • Manage documentation across campaign briefs, media plans, reporting templates, and platform governance
  • Lead vendor relationships and stay informed on platform updates and emerging capabilities
  • Own and support client reporting
  • Contribute to agency new business pitches and overall thought leadership
  • Mentor team on campaign execution, platform best practices, and client service excellence
  • Foster cross-team collaboration

What you Bring:

  • 7–9 years of hands-on, multi-channel paid media experience across a variety of B2B and B2C sectors
  • Strong strategic instincts with the ability to connect media performance to broader business objectives
  • Deep platform fluency and experience managing large-scale media budgets
  • Advanced Excel and reporting skills; experience with Looker Studio, GA4, and Hubspot a plus
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Interest in organic social and content strategy is a bonus
