Role Overview

The Associate Buyer is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of Zillow’s Video Media schedules. You will receive hands-on training to prepare for a career in multimedia buying, learning tools, terminology, and decision-making processes involved in planning and managing media investments.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Train and master all investment systems and tools of buying
  2. Work with managers to develop buying and negotiation skills
  3. Develop a working knowledge of your client’s goals, guidelines, and strategies
  4. Set-up and maintain required reports as directed by managers
  5. Deliver post-buy reports to clients with managerial support
  6. Stay current with department tools and research, applying them to stewardship and planning
  7. Perform basic buying and stewardship functions as instructed
  8. Provide admin/system support to the buying teams
  9. Maintain good relationships with network partners to ensure efficient responsibilities

  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Experience & Education
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Internship experience in media/marketing services is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $45,000/year. The total rewards package includes comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, vision, pet insurance, commuter benefits, disability and life insurance, 401(k) matching, holidays, a “Do Good Day,” and unlimited PTO.
