Ayesa is seeking an Associate Mechanical Engineer to lead multidisciplinary design teams for water infrastructure projects in London. You will oversee design coordination across mechanical, civil, electrical, and process disciplines, ensuring high quality throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires an engineering degree, chartered status or active pursuit, and 10+ years of mechanical design experience in water or utilities, with strong BIM and CM systems knowledge.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
• Chartered Engineer (IMechE) or working towards chartership preferred.
• 10+ years experience in mechanical design for water/ wastewater/ utilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary design delivery for water infrastructure projects.
• Oversee design coordination with civil, electrical and process teams.
• Prepare specifications, schedules and tender documents.
• Manage contractor interfaces and ensure delivery to time, cost and quality.
