This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export‑controlled technology. FTT will require proof of status prior to employment.

We have immediate openings for entry level and/or developing from 0 to 5 years’ experience Modeler/Drafter.

Essential Job Functions

• Prepare models/details/assemblies and sub-assemblies of simple to moderately complex parts.
• Work closely with engineering to incorporate all requirements into a design.
• Comply with all related specifications in the preparation of product definition, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Creates and modifies detailed drawings using CAD hardware and software from sketches, layouts or notes provided by engineering.
• Performs duties under established procedures.
• Normally receives detailed instructions and works under close supervision.
• May work with system management including file maintenance, backup and storage.
• Works on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment and has little or no role in decision‑making.
• Acquires job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks.
• Other job duties as assigned.

Experience And Skills

• Working knowledge of drafting methods, procedures and techniques.
• Knowledge of Siemens NX preferred or PTC CREO 3D CAD software. PLM software: Team Center or Windchill and SAP experience is desirable.
• Possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the assigned duties.
• Maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by company and government requirements.
• Communicate and interact effectively with peers, supervisors, and public, including maintaining respect for others, and following company policies.

Education and Experience

• Pursuing a 2-year Associate Degree in Product Definition or equivalent work related experience.

• Ability to perform repetitive motion with wrists/hands (keyboarding, mouse, phones).
