Our state‑of‑the‑art bakery spans 144,000 square feet and is located in Gaffney, South Carolina. This fast‑paced environment combines cutting‑edge technology with a culture that values each voice, personal growth, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production line inventory and replenish materials under general supervision in a very fast‑paced production environment.
• Load outgoing shipments and transfer goods to designated locations with proper documentation and authorization.
• Operate powered industrial vehicles, including forklifts and pallet jacks, and manage manual pallet jacks as required.
• Assist in plant operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and company policies, including food safety and quality standards (GMP, HACCP, FDA, OSHA, USDA, BRC).
• Complete all required AIB food safety and quality modules annually or within one year of the start date.
• Pick and stage customer orders, load outgoing shipments, and document inventory movements, expiration dates, and lot/serial numbers using handheld scanners.
• Strategically plan, stage, and replenishment of materials while maintaining accurate documentation via handheld scanners.
• Clean and maintain warehouse areas and powered industrial vehicles.
• Follow FIFO (First‑In‑First‑Out) inventory control practices for shipping and production needs.
• Transfer finished goods from production lines to storage locations while documenting inventory movements, expiration dates, and lot/serial numbers.
• Participate in physical inventory counts.
• Assist other departments with pickups and deliveries.
• Perform general warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience operating material handling equipment and a handheld scanner in a manufacturing environment, or six months of manufacturing/production experience plus completion of forklift safety and operation training.
• Experience operating a forklift, pallet jack, or manual pallet jack.
• Ability to repeatedly lift, push, pull, or reach above shoulder height objects weighing up to 60 pounds.
• Strong reading, writing, and counting skills to fill orders accurately and maintain inventory records.
• Preferred: one year of experience operating material handling equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Preferred: one year of experience operating a handheld scanner for inventory record maintenance.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, lifting, bending, and moving of heavy 60‑pound material.
• Ability to stand, judge distance of over 20 feet, and accurately engage forklift forks with palletized inventory for an 8‑hour shift.
