Dexian is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Technician to support U.S. manufacturing capabilities and global growth.

The role involves operating and maintaining highly automated equipment, training across technologies, and ensuring product quality in a regulated environment. You will work with heat staking, laser welding, robotic automation, and other processes, supporting new product transfer and process validation while maintaining GMP-compliant manufacturing practices.

Formación

  • High school diploma or GED or a minimum of 3 years of hands-on manufacturing experience.
  • Proficiency in English for reading documentation, communication, and writing.
  • Basic math skills, including arithmetic, algebra, and geometry.

Responsabilidades

  • Set up, operate, repair, and perform basic preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
  • Ensure raw materials are prepared correctly and manage fault clearing and stoppage resolution on automated systems.
  • Use HMIs to monitor and correct process variations.
  • Conduct equipment inspections and generate emergency, corrective, or preventive work orders as needed.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical errors, safety issues, or operational inefficiencies within production processes.
  • Support material inventory and quality management through computer systems.
  • Assist in new product transfer, process development, equipment validation, and process validation activities.
  • Investigate and resolve process issues within assigned equipment areas.
  • Perform routine cleaning, inspection, lubrication, and maintenance of machinery and monitoring devices.
  • Use measuring tools to verify tolerances and support quality control.
  • Follow specifications, work orders, and instructions from supervisors accurately.
  • Adhere to GMPs for material handling, record keeping, packaging, and shipment.
  • Communicate any discrepancies or safety concerns to supervisors immediately.
  • Work independently with attention to detail and organization, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve processes.
  • Maintain a clean, compliant work environment suitable for manufacturing in a regulated industry.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Position Summary

The Associate Manufacturing Technician plays a vital role within the organization, supporting a mission to establish U.S. manufacturing capabilities, expand globally, and drive continuous product innovation. The successful candidate will operate and maintain advanced, highly automated manufacturing equipment essential for producing key products. This role involves training and cross‑training across various technologies, including heat staking, laser welding, mechanical swaging, PCB handling and testing, robotic automation, metal stamping and bending, medical packaging, and high‑speed component assembly. Besides equipment operation, the technician ensures product quality, performs basic troubleshooting, and maintains a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, repair, and perform basic preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards, with minimal supervision.
  • Ensure raw materials are prepared correctly and manage fault clearing and stoppage resolution on automated systems.
  • Use human machine interfaces (HMIs) to monitor and correct process variations.
  • Conduct equipment inspections and generate emergency, corrective, or preventive work orders as needed.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical errors, safety issues, or operational inefficiencies within production processes.
  • Support material inventory and quality management through computer systems.
  • Assist in new product transfer, process development, equipment validation, and process validation activities.
  • Investigate and resolve process issues within assigned equipment areas.

  • Maintain a clean, compliant work environment suitable for manufacturing in a regulated industry.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED or a minimum of 3 years of hands‑on manufacturing experience.
  • Proficiency in English for reading documentation, communication, and writing.
  • Basic math skills, including arithmetic, algebra, and geometry.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience operating, debugging, or maintaining highly automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Familiarity with HMIs and manufacturing instrumentation such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and gauge blocks.
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Dependable team player with a keen eye for quality and a positive attitude.
  • Manufacturing experience in the medical device industry.
  • Previous experience with robotics, discrete assembly, and related manufacturing instrumentation.
  • Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment.
  • Knowledge of technologies such as laser welding, ultrasonic welding, heat staking, and optical gauging.
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience with automated tools and machinery.
  • Problem‑solving skills and an understanding of root cause analysis.
