What you will do

This role supports Amgen's pipeline of clinical drug supply to patients globally. You will collaborate with multiple functions at the Thousand Oaks site, supporting FDA-regulated manufacturing areas through equipment preparation and sanitation tasks, including autoclaves, ovens, and automated washers, adhering to SOPs, cGMPs, and Amgen regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble equipment and components for manufacturing
• Operate autoclaves and integrity testers
• Clean equipment and manufacturing areas using manual and automated methods
• Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies
• Document work and review paperwork per Good Documentation Practices
• Follow CFRs, cGMPs, SOPs, and company policies
• Coordinate work activities with production to minimize impact
• Update SOPs and controlled documents as needed
• Assist in evaluating and optimizing cleaning procedures and equipment

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2+ years of relevant experience, OR
• Associate's degree with 6 months of experience, OR
• Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to interpret SOPs and documentation
• Experience with autoclaves and automated washers
• 2+ years in environmental support or facility cleaning
• Experience in a GMP environment
• Ability to work with cleaning chemicals
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Physical ability to perform activities and lift up to 25 lbs
• Experience with document revision and operational excellence initiatives
• Ability to adapt to regulatory inspections
