Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Associate, Manufacturing Engineer in Malabar, FL. The role focuses on implementing and analyzing manufacturing plans, developing tools and systems, and coordinating with engineering for new product releases.

The candidate will estimate costs, set time standards and identify tooling and process needs while maintaining robust records for operations. A related engineering degree is required, with Lean/Six Sigma and CAD proficiency preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical, aerospace, materials science or industrial engineering or related field.
Degree completed within last 12 months also acceptable.
Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, technical writing, MS Project and MS SharePoint preferred.

Responsibilities

Implement and analyze manufacturing plans and projects.
Design, develop and transfer manufacturing and engineering tools, strategies and systems.
Develop manufacturing strategies for specific products and processes.
Interface with engineering in coordinating the release of new products.
Estimate manufacturing costs, determine time standards, and recommend tooling and process requirements.
Maintain records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.
