This range is provided by Persistent Systems, LLC. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr

Additional compensation types

Position Responsibilities
  • Engineering to Production hand-over for new and existing products
  • Ensure product documentation, training, tools, equipment, and procedures are identified, defined, documented, and implemented prior to product release
  • Utilize value stream mapping techniques to identify, understand, and minimize bottlenecks within existing production processes
  • Team up with engineering in developing manufacturing processes and test equipment for our ever-growing line of products
  • Own in-house and external manufacturing processes
  • Work with Quality and Operations in identifying and correcting undesirable trends
  • Develop and document manufacturing methods and process improvements to reduce cost and cycle time, with a focus on lean principles
  • Promote sustainment by performing case studies for the various processes, procedures, and products and ensure standardization
  • Report on manufacturing line status and bridge gap analysis to the operations management team
  • Troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical test systems and industrial equipment
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical discipline or equivalent experience
  • 0-2 years of direct experience in an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment
  • Experience developing and implementing process improvements
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma methods and systems
  • Experience with hands-on assembly, testing, and troubleshooting
  • Must have United States security clearance or the ability to obtain United States security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical, computer, or mechanical engineering
  • Experience in electronics manufacturing
  • Experience in the Aerospace and/or Defense industry
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management standards
  • Software programming experience
  • CAD & 3D printing experience
