IQVIA LLC is seeking an Associate Manager, Specimen Management to lead a team and ensure daily operations meet quality standards. You will drive staffing, processes, and cost-saving initiatives while supporting growth and compliance in a global clinical lab environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, adherence to SOPs, and ongoing process improvements to support client needs and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree is required.
• 4 years experience in Specimen Management or related clinical lab services function.
• Strong understanding of specimen management operations, methods, quality control systems, and procedures.
• Knowledge of study setup and cross-functional and system dependencies.
• Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

• Lead the hiring, training, performance management, development, mentoring, and coaching of team members.
• Establish daily operational objectives and coordinate workflows, resources, and staff coverage.
• Monitor operational metrics and implement improvements that enhance performance, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Maintain quality control systems, standard operating procedures, training records, position descriptions, and other required documentation.
• Promote compliance with company procedures, regulatory guidelines, health and safety requirements, and good housekeeping standards.
• Support capacity planning, budget planning, equipment purchase justifications, audit preparation, and incident trend analysis.
• Partner with global counterparts to improve process consistency and serve as a point of contact for internal and external client inquiries.

The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
