Job Summary

Perform routine laboratory testing and analysis to generate reliable data for drug development and clinical trials research. Document procedures and results in accordance with standard operating procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform and document analytical procedures in accordance with standard operating procedures and regulatory guidelines
• Analyze routine data, confirm results are within acceptable tolerances, and escalte unusual findings or potential performance errors
• Prepare buffers and solutions and support the upload of analytical results into the laboratory information management system
• Perform and document assigned equipment calibration and maintenance activities
• Assist with quality investigations, deviations, procedural updates, and the implementation of laboratory process changes
• Train and guide laboratory personnel on routine procedures in areas of demonstrated competency
• Communicate clearly and promptly with cross-functional stakeholders and represent the laboratory team on assigned projects
• Support laboratory safety, quality, inventory, continuing education, and 6S initiatives

What We Are Looking For

• An Associate's degree or educational equivalent in medical technology is required
• 6 months of experience in a regulated laboratory environment
• Proficiency with relevant laboratory techniques, including the preparation of buffers and solutions and the handling of batches and specimens
• Experience using automation or specialized laboratory equipment
• Proficiency with routine and some non-routine laboratory calculations, including averages, means, standard deviations, and quality control metrics
• An applicable certification required by country, state, or other relevant regulatory body is required
• Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role

• Basic knowledge of the assigned technical area, laboratory systems, procedures, and applicable regulatory standards, such as Good Laboratory Practices
• Knowledge of laboratory safety, infection-control practices, standard precautions, and hazardous chemical handling
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to recognize unusual results and document work clearly
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate effectively with laboratory colleagues and cross-functional stakeholders
• Good computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Ability to support the onboarding and hands-on training of laboratory personnel

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $42,700.00 - $89,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
