Job summary

LinkedIn is seeking an Associate Monetization Strategy Manager to accelerate Growth for Talent Solutions. You will lead monetization initiatives, partner with Sales, Product, Marketing and BizOps, and drive pricing, packaging and GTM execution on a global scale.

This hybrid role based in NYC or San Francisco involves cross-functional leadership, data-driven pricing, and strategic go-to-market development to optimize a multi-billion-dollar product portfolio.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in economics, management science, business, analytics or related field.
  • Experience building financial models in Excel and using data to drive decisions.
  • 2+ years in Pricing, BizOps, Business Strategy, Finance or GTM in SaaS or analytics.
  • Experience analyzing pricing and packaging to inform pricing decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Talent Solutions monetization strategy lead for defined products and channels.
  • Analyze and track performance of monetization initiatives and provide insights for improvement.
  • Partner with Sales, Product, Marketing and BizOps to shape GTM, pricing and packaging strategies.
  • Develop Go-To-Market and implementation plans for global rollout of new offerings.
  • Use hypothesis-driven analyses to evaluate pricing opportunities.
  • Build models to size and influence pricing and packaging strategy workstreams.
  • Design and execute qualitative and quantitative customer research for pricing decisions.
  • Measure monetization performance and drive continuous improvements.

LinkedIn Monetization Strategy team is looking for an Associate Monetization Strategy Manager to help accelerate growth and improve go-to-market strategy for our Talent Solutions business (~$7B+ in Revenue). This individual will work closely with leaders in our marketing, sales, finance, and product organizations to help craft new business models, define monetization strategies for new offerings, optimize packaging & pricing for existing offers, and develop global processes to ensure successful pricing execution. Responsibilities
  • Serve as Talent Solutions monetization strategy lead for a set of products and sales channels/segments where you will lead 1-2 monetization strategy initiatives from design through implementation.

  • Analyze and track performance of commercial model initiatives and provide insights and recommendations to improve programs, influence strategy, prioritization and processes.

  • Partner with Sales Leadership, Product Management, Product Marketing and BizOps to determine:

    • How the next generation of Talent Solution products will be brought to market and monetized
    • How we can evolve the current product and offer portfolio pricing and packaging to accelerate growth.
  • Partner with Product Marketing, Sales Ops and Systems to develop Go-To-Market and implementation plans to support global rollout of new commercial offers.

  • Leverage hypothesis-driven analyses to evaluate pricing and packaging opportunities

  • Build analytical models to inform, size and influence pricingstrategy and to help support sub-workstreams of pricing and packaging strategy initiatives

  • Design and execute qualitative and quantitative customer research to transform insights into recommendations and inform pricing and packaging decisions.

  • Measure and track monetization performance to enable continuous improvements to our pricing and packaging.

  • Develop process foundations to improve price governance, execution, escalation processes, market validation, customer outcomes & decision making

Basic Qualifications
  • 2+ Years of Pricing, BizOps, Business Strategy, Finance, Business Analytics and/or Go-To-Market Strategy experience at a SaaS company or similar experience at analytical role.

  • BA/BS degree in economics, management science, business, applied math, statistics, finance, analytics or related field.

  • Experience building financial models in Excel

  • Experience leveraging numbers and insights to influence & drive sound decision making

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with building reports in CRM, running own SQL analyses and building financial models.
  • Experience building business models or broader Go-to-Market strategies, optimizing packaging & pricing for B2B internet / SaaS / Software businesses
  • Demonstrated success and passion for collecting and analyzing customer insight to support strategic Go-To-Market, pricing and/or packaging decisions.
  • Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills; ability to break down and solve problems through quantitative thinking and analysis
  • Experience with market research and research methods in pricing (e.g. Van Westendorp, Gabor Granger, Conjoint etc.).
  • Experience engaging and collaborating with cross-functional partners.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, “get it done” entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to structure and communicate complex information in a simplified manner both written and verbally.
  • Comfortable with developing creative solutions under ambiguity and uncertainty.
  • Strategic and creative problem-solver who loves to tackle complex challenges in a collaborative team environment.
  • Intellectually curious and adaptable to different environments and team settings.

The pay range for this role is $89,000 to $145,000 Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
