Job summary

Tumi Holdings Inc. is seeking an Associate Manager for our Retail team. The role focuses on creating a client experience that reflects the brand ethos while building strong client relationships and driving sales through outstanding service.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed individual and store baseline goals for personal sales and KPI metrics inclusive of conversion, DPT, UPT and Client Data Capture.
• Display initiative, plan and prioritize, think strategically, and champion change effectively.
• Take responsibility for performance and complete all tasks and meet deadlines.
• Train and develop: assist Store Manager with training and development for store associates; conduct quarterly goalsetting for personal development.
• Coach and provide feedback: articulate strengths and opportunities; use company tools for 360-degree coaching; welcome feedback.
• Exercise strong written and verbal skills; adapt communication up, down and across the team; maintain ethical conduct; support company goals.
• Manage personal timecards to ensure payroll accuracy; maintain Tumi University Training; adhere to all policies and procedures.
• Ensure the store follows visual guidelines; emphasize client books, thank you cards, and event strategies; deliver a consistently superior client experience.

• Retail Store Associates may be eligible to participate in the quarterly sales bonus program. Store bonus payout eligibility is determined by performance to the quarterly sales plan which may be prorated depending on various factors.
