SC Johnson is seeking an Associate Manager, Data Management, Systems & Analytics in Racine, WI. The role shapes data, systems, analytics, automation, and AI capabilities to advance Global Safety Assurance & Regulatory Affairs (GSARA) operations.

Qualifications

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Associate Manager, Data Management, Systems & Analytics, you will play a key role in shaping how data, systems, analytics, automation, and emerging technologies enable the future of Global Safety Assurance & Regulatory Affairs (GSARA) operations.

In this role, you will combine data and systems expertise with strategic problem-solving to develop and evolve digital capabilities that make complex work simpler, smarter, and more connected. Partnering closely with Global and Regional GSARA teams, IT, R&D, and other cross-functional partners, you will translate business challenges into scalable solutions, strengthen how data is leveraged for insights and decision-making, and identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.

You will also help GSARA explore and responsibly unlock the potential of Artificial Intelligence, automation, advanced analytics, and emerging technologies. Rather than simply responding to existing needs, you will proactively identify new opportunities, evaluate technology capabilities, and help stakeholders understand how digital solutions can solve business challenges and create measurable value.

Success in this role requires someone who can connect data, systems, and technology with real business needs. You will influence across functions, guide stakeholders through change and adoption, and help build the knowledge and confidence needed to effectively use new capabilities. Ultimately, you will help turn data and emerging technology into sustainable solutions that strengthen GSARA operations and enable smarter, more efficient ways of working.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the strategy, roadmap, design, optimization, and lifecycle management of information systems and digital solutions that serve as the foundation for GSARA operations, including Power Platform solutions, SharePoint-based solutions, data and analytics platforms, and third-party Software as a Service (SaaS) applications.
• Manage and prioritize system enhancements and new digital capabilities based on business value, user needs, risk, technical feasibility, and GSARA priorities. Establish appropriate system and data governance to ensure solutions remain scalable, sustainable, secure, and effective.
• Serve as a strategic translator between GSARA business needs and technology capabilities. Partner with stakeholders to understand business challenges and desired outcomes, challenge stated requirements when appropriate, and identify opportunities to simplify, redesign, automate, or digitally enable work beyond the initially requested solution.
• Lead the exploration and application of AI and emerging technologies within GSARA. Proactively identify and demonstrate capabilities that can address business challenges or unlock opportunities teams may not yet recognize, helping stakeholders reimagine workflows and ways of working rather than simply automating existing processes.
• Drive digital capability building and change management across GSARA. Educate, coach, and enable teams to understand and effectively leverage systems, data, analytics, automation, and AI capabilities. Lead stakeholder engagement, training, adoption, and change activities required to embed new capabilities into GSARA ways of working.
• Establish and monitor metrics for system performance, adoption, usage, and business value. Use data and stakeholder feedback to drive continuous improvement, prioritize future opportunities, and demonstrate the impact of GSARA's digital capabilities.
• Lead cross-functional technology initiatives and partnerships with Global and Regional GSARA teams, IT, R&D, third-party developers, and technology providers, ensuring alignment, effective delivery, and sustainable solutions.
• Build and maintain reporting and analytics capabilities that support GSARA operations and leadership decision-making, establishing standards that improve data integrity, consistency, usability, and scalability.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING

• Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 5 + years of professional experience in Software Development, System Administration, Data Management, Analytics, Reporting, Digital Solutions, or related areas
• Demonstrated experience leading the design and delivery of business systems, data solutions, analytics, automation, or digital capabilities
• Experience translating business challenges into technology-enabled solutions and constructively challenging requirements to identify alternative approaches and opportunities
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and driving adoption or change associated with new technologies, systems, or ways of working
• Experience with reporting and analytics platforms such as Power BI or Tableau
• Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) and experience working with data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse/Fabric, or similar

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

• Strong technical skills in Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft 365, and Databricks
• Experience applying AI, Generative AI, intelligent automation, or emerging technologies to business processes and workflows
• Demonstrated ability to explore new technology capabilities, translate them into practical business opportunities, and educate others on their potential application
• Experience with change management, capability building, and technology adoption
• Knowledge of the New Product Development (NPD) process
• Ability to work cross-functionally, influence without direct authority, and build strong internal and external relationships at all levels
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, planning, facilitation, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and proactively, navigate ambiguity, challenge existing ways of working, and take ownership for outcomes

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Full-time onsite role in Racine, Wisconsin
• Remote work is available once per week for eligible employees after 90 days onboarding period
