J.Crew Group (JCG) is seeking an Associate Manager to join the leadership team. You will drive profitability by fostering customer connections, brand loyalty, and community engagement while coaching and developing the team.

You will own a division, support recruiting and training, and collaborate with the Store Director to maintain operational excellence and outstanding service across the store.

Job Summary

As an Associate Manager, you are a key member of the leadership team. You'll provide immediate feedback and coaching to maximize team performance. While you will own a key area of the business, you will also be expected to step into other roles to maintain operational excellence.

What You’ll Do

Own your designated division of responsibility (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling, etc.) Manage store operations, systems, and technology while ensuring accountability. Support Store Director with recruiting, training and development efforts. Partner with Store Director and management team to curate a collaborative working environment for all associates. Ensure the team is always on track to exceed goals and provide best-in-class customer service. Come up with innovative ways to engage the community and build loyalty through events. Can step into a variety of roles on the sales floor, if needed.

Who You Are

Have 3+ years of full-time retail management experience with a similar scope. Passionately support our brand, customers, and teams. Stay up to date with current fashion trends and industry developments. Embrace teamwork, flexibility, and courtesy while executing tasks. Innovate and champion new ideas while navigating uncertainty, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills. Have scheduling flexibility, including nights, weekends and holidays. Must bend, reach, stretch for product as well as lift, carry and move at least 40 pounds | 18 kilos.

Hourly Range: $24.00 - $30.00 At J.Crew Group (JCG) we aim to pay competitively for our company’s size and industry. The base salary offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region of work premises, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. The base salary is just one component of J.Crew Group’s competitive total rewards strategy that also includes the opportunity for bonus, competitive benefits and perks.
