Variety St. Louis is seeking an Associate Major Gifts Officer to deepen major gifts experience and manage a significant donor portfolio. Qualifications

• Approximately three or more years of fundraising, development, donor relations, or similar experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple donor relationships and maintain thorough documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a donor portfolio of 100–125 current and prospective donors, primarily at the $10,000+ level.
• Develop cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies with the Director of Development.
• Build authentic donor relationships through meetings, calls, correspondence, and mission experiences.
• Solicit philanthropic support and participate with leadership in donor conversations and solicitations.
• Maintain disciplined moves-management with clear strategies and next steps.
