Job summary

Halliburton in Lafayette, LA is seeking an Associate Machine Operator to work under close supervision on a night shift.

The role sets up, adjusts, and operates a variety of machine tools, including wrap-on pipe machines and overhead cranes, with a 6-month contract and potential extension.

Overtime/weekends are available. Required: HS diploma, 1–2 years machining experience, ability to read blueprints, and safe operation of industrial equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of hands-on machining or manufacturing experience.
• Ability to safely operate and monitor industrial machinery.
• Experience operating an overhead crane for lifting and moving heavy materials.
• Hands-on experience using powered hand tools, such as grinders and drills.

• This is not a typical CNC machinist position; this will be a wire wrap-on pipe machine that requires machine operation.

Job description

The Associate Machine Operator working under close supervision, sets up, adjusts, and operates a variety of machine tools which may include numerical control/computerized numeric control lathes, mills, drills, computerized numerical control/numerical control and/or manual machines.

• Pay Rate: $23.00/hour, depending on experience.
• Assignment Length: 6-month contract with a high possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.
• Shift Details: Night shift | Monday - Thursday | 4:00 pm - 2:00 am |10-hour shift|Overtime/weekends are available
