Under the direction of the Lead/Primary Loan Originator, performs office or non-manual work related to the management or general business operations of PrimeLending and its customers. Promotes PrimeLending products and services to clients such as realtors, builders, bank officers, and potential or past clients. Acts as a liaison between the Lead/Primary Loan Originator and other team members, in-process customers, and branch staff.

Responsibilities

• Markets and promotes PrimeLending’s financial products.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with realtors, bank officers, builders, and sales representatives to develop and retain business.
• Handles loan volume as directed by the team lead/primary loan originator efficiently.
• Monitors customer interactions and interfaces with all parties involved from application to closing.
• Collects and analyzes customer income, assets, investments, or debts.
• Schedules appointments and interacts with all parties involved in each loan transaction.
• Obtains and manages necessary support documents, communicates loan status, and follows up post-closing.
• Negotiates loan terms with customers.
• Stays updated on rules and regulations regarding private and government-insured mortgages.
• Maintains professional standards and meets customer service expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; appropriate state licenses.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
• At least 6 months of loan originator experience.
• Strong communication, judgment, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to analyze large data sets and use relevant software technology.
• Active community involvement and professional networking.
