Responsibilities
  1. Litigation Management:
    • Manage a diverse caseload of personal injury defense matters in federal court, focusing on cases within the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
    • Develop and execute effective litigation strategies, overseeing case analysis, motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation.
  2. Legal Research and Analysis:
    • Conduct legal research on federal laws, regulations, and precedents to support case strategies.
    • Interpret statutes and legal opinions to advise clients accurately and promptly.
  3. Client Interaction:
    • Maintain communication with clients regarding case developments and strategies.
    • Collaborate with clients to gather information and evidence for cases.
  4. Court Appearances:
    • Represent clients in federal court proceedings, including hearings and trials.
    • Prepare and file legal documents, pleadings, and motions.
  5. Negotiation and Settlement:
    • Engage in settlement negotiations to achieve favorable outcomes ethically.
  6. Collaboration and Teamwork:
    • Work effectively with attorneys, paralegals, and legal staff to ensure seamless legal service delivery.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
