Job summary

Priceline is hiring an Associate Software Engineer – Java to join a hybrid team building next‑generation travel applications. You will develop in Core Java, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and contribute to high‑throughput services with CI/CD and automated testing.

The role requires a strong foundation in Java, Big Data technologies, and NoSQL stores, with exposure to Spring Frameworks, microservices, and containerization tools. Eligible for bonus and equity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Core Java.
• Deep understanding of modern real-time and batch processing Big Data solutions (Spark, Kafka, KSQL, Flink, Apache Beam).
• Experience building applications that use NoSQL stores (e.g., Cassandra, Bigtable, MongoDB).
• Comfort and experience with Spring Frameworks, Web Services and APIs.
• Experience with microservices, Kubernetes, Docker is a plus.

Salary

Base salary range: $85,000 – $100,000 CAD. Eligible for bonus and/or equity.
