Job Description

Summary of Position
The Associate IV may perform a variety of significant tasks, which contribute to the overall quality and safety of pistachio & almond products. These may include performing tasks in multiple areas, including but not limited to Fabrication, Machine Operation, Maintenance, and Sanitation. The Associate IV plays a vital role in their contribution to the overall goals of various departments.
Duties & Responsibilities
(You may be asked to perform some, or all of the duties described below)

1. Prepare production machinery for operation at beginning of shift, including input of production run variables, adjustments, regulation, calibration, and testing.
2. Monitor machine performance through continual observation and troubleshooting.
3. Responsible for all product “change-overs” and ensuring that the machine is sanitized properly.
4. Perform regular preventive maintenance on all machines in the area of responsibility.
5. Assist engineers with new product development testing and continuous improvement projects.

• Communicate issues or concerns to supervisor in a timely manner.
• Intermediate level computer skills are required.
• Attend safety meetings and other departmental or company-related meetings as assigned.
• Participate in all “Lock Out-Tag Out” (LOTO) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) events and trainings.
• Observe all “Good Manufacturing Practices” (GMPs) as specified by the Company’s food safety policy.
• Perform additional duties as assigned. (May also be asked to perform “Task Level I & II” duties as needed).
Education / Experience
• High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) recommended.
• 1-2 years of related experience recommended.

Pay Range: $21.15
