The Associate IT Product Manager is a key member of the IT organization working to drive the strategy and vision of the product and its features.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Determines business and customer needs by evaluating feedback and information gathered from multiple sources.
- Defines strategy and processes for one or more IT product areas.
- Owns the product roadmap and works with stakeholders to prioritize and translate into feature implementation.
- Manages a long–term roadmap and drives a more detailed short–term roadmap.
- Collaborates with various teams including engineering, business analysts, clinical stakeholders, and UX/UI to determine the best technical implementation methods.
- Supports communications, meetings, and other collaborations as appropriate to effectively perform work and to understand, resolve, and/or mitigate risks, obstacles, and conflicts in the performance of functional activities.
- Prepares and communicates status updates and demonstrations to senior executives and other stakeholders.
- Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager’s discretion.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Hands‑on software product design and/or development experience preferably in an agile software development environment.
- Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, Sales, Customer Support, Finance and/or Marketing.
- Passionate problem solver.
- Experience leading design, feature breakdown and projects/products from inception through launch.
- Ability to communicate thoughtfully, leveraging problem–solving skills and a learning mindset to build long–term relationships.
- Great interpersonal skills, as the role will be embedded in a very matrixed organization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, database, and presentation software.
- Ability and willingness to travel locally, regionally and nationwide up to 10% of the time.
- Spoken and written fluency in English.
- This role requires use and exercise of independent judgment.
Education and Experience Criteria
- BA/BS degree in Information Technology or business related field required (or additional experience above the minimum may be considered in lieu of the required education on a year‑for‑year basis).
- Master’s Degree preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year of work experience in the product management role; or similar experience having managed programs or projects for businesses that contribute for customers and business partners.
- Experience in healthcare domain preferred.
Pay Range
$108,313 – $154,733
