Job summary

Johnson Controls, a global leader in building technologies, seeks an IT Support role in Raleigh to deliver end-to-end field IT services. You will install and support hardware and software, manage devices, and enable secure, compliant operations across local sites.

You will assist in project delivery for Enterprise and BU initiatives, coordinate with vendors, and provide on-site and remote support as needed. A strong customer focus and proactive incident handling are essential.

• Supports delivery of Enterprise and BU projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support hardware including PCs, tablets, mobile devices, printers, and specialized equipment.
• Provide software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting support.
• Perform endpoint vulnerability remediation in alignment with security standards.
• Support Enterprise and BU project demand, including planned and unplanned initiatives.
• Deliver Tech Hut / walk-up IT support services.
• Manage PC lifecycle activities including provisioning, refresh, disposal, and asset management tasks.
• Provide local infrastructure support for servers, network equipment, and VOIP systems.
• Deliver on-site Smart Hands support and liaise with vendors and internal IT teams.
• Perform local mobile device administration.
• Support IT procurement processes for hardware and related services.
• Manage access permissions including network share access.
• Ensure local IT security compliance including communications room setup and access control.
• Assist compliance and audit teams with IT audit activities.
• Provide satellite office IT support, including travel as required.
• Manage and coordinate IT vendors at the site or regional level.

Role Summary

Service Delivery Expectations

Deliver Field IT services in accordance with defined Service Level Targets (SLTs) using the Johnson Controls Service Management toolset. Demonstrate proactive customer communication, strong service ownership, and a customer-focused mindset.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $65,000-90,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
