The role is primarily focused on researching and coordinating responses to investor inquiries, working closely with the Finance, Compliance and Capital Formation teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the management of ongoing relationships with existing investors including financial institutions, endowments, high net worth, family office, insurance companies, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, investment firms, and consultants.
  • Anticipate investor needs, proactively identify opportunities to enhance engagement and ensure organized and consistent investor experience.
  • Research investor questions against fund documents (LPAs, side letters, PPMs, offering memoranda) and financial reports.
  • Support onboarding of new investors, including assisting with KYC/AML documentation collection and entity questionnaires.
  • Ensure investor information, contacts, preferences, reporting requirements, and communication protocols are accurately maintained and communicated internally.
  • Support effective communication with investors throughout the Fund lifecycle, from initial capital commitment through final distribution and fund liquidation.

Document Research & Review

  • Review investor-facing materials including DDQs, ILPA templates, capital account statements, and quarterly/annual reports for accuracy and consistency.
  • Cross-reference fund financials against reporting deliverables to flag discrepancies or missing data prior to distribution.
  • Assist with compiling and organizing supporting documentation for audits, due diligence requests, and regulatory filings.
  • Facilitate investor requests related to account maintenance, ownership changes, documentation, and other ongoing administrative matters.
  • Triage incoming requests, handling low-complexity inquiries independently and escalating nuanced issues to senior staff with supporting context.

Reporting & Deliverables Coordination

  • Prepare and coordinate investor communications, including quarterly and annual reports, portfolio updates and other recurring and ad hoc materials.
  • Support the preparation and distribution of investor notices and communications relating to capital calls, distributions, acquisitions, dispositions and other material fund or portfolio developments.
  • Facilitate investor inquiries related to fund performance, portfolio activity, investment strategy, capital activity, and market developments.
  • Monitor reporting calendars, investor specific requirements, and contractual obligations to ensure timely delivery of information.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as central liaison between investors and internal teams, including Finance, Compliance and Capital Formation teams to gather information needed to respond to investor inquiries.
  • Coordinate with the Capital Formation team to ensure a smooth transition from the fundraising and commitment process to ongoing investor relationship management.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance investor servicing processes, communication protocols, and reporting workflows.
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy, responsiveness, confidentiality, and professionalism across all investor interactions.
