Job description

Job Title:Associate Inventory Specialist - Shift B
Location:Merritt Island, FL
Duration: 6-month Contract
Work Type: Onsite

Job Summary:
  • Contractor shall provide the Inventory setup and management.
  • Responsibilities associated with this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Cycle Counting inventory:
  • Creating a spreadsheet.
  • Working in an Ambient temperature.
  • Recording part numbers and serial numbers.
  • Record locations.

Labeling location:
  • Labeling inventory.
  • Adjusting in inventory.
  • Validating inventory counts is correct.

Perform Inventory Issuing:
  • Relocate inventory.
  • Relocate the inventory work center.
  • Provide service as needed on the inventory.

Must Have:
  • Excel proficiency.
  • General computer skills.

Nice to Have:
  • Cost Point.
  • Forklift experience.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Understanding and exposure to supply chain concepts and interest in network design, sales and operations planning (S&OP), inventory, or physical flow management.
  • Clear demonstration of having led operational improvements and in managing key transformation factors (e.g., performance management systems, mindsets/behaviors).
  • Demonstrated aptitude for analytics.
  • Proven record of leadership in a work setting and/or through extracurricular activities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and work effectively with people at all levels in an organization.
  • Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively.
