Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Associate Inventory Control Analyst to join our team at Oil-Dri Corporation of America. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain, and supporting our team in achieving optimal inventory management practices.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in conducting regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with established procedures
  • Support the development and implementation of inventory control policies and procedures
  • Utilize inventory management software to track stock levels and manage discrepancies
  • Prepare inventory reports and maintain organized records of inventory transactions
  • Identify areas for improvement in inventory processes and recommend solutions
  • Assist in reporting weekly inventory variance metrics to plant management
  • Perform data entry for stock movements, adjustments, and transactions
  • Help reconcile inventory discrepancies between system records and physical counts
  • Assist in planning, conducting, and recording cycle counts and physical inventories
  • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing inventory
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations related to inventory handling
  • Support internal and external inventory audits
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with regulatory or financial reporting requirements
  • Collaborate with warehouse, production, procurement, and shipping teams to ensure inventory accuracy
Education & Qualifications
  • Associates degree (required), Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • 1-3 years of experience in inventory control, warehousing, or related operations.
Skills & Abilities
  • Familiarity with inventory management software or ERP systems (Oracle JDE) is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organizational, communication, and basic analytical skills
