Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance or related field.
  • 1–2 years in inventory analysis, supply chain, or related analytical role.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving with data interpretation.
  • Advanced Excel skills and ERP familiarity (SAP/Oracle/JD Edwards).

Responsibilities

  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and issues.
  • Generate and maintain inventory reports, dashboards and KPIs.
  • Support inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Collaborate with procurement, production and sales for planning.
  • Participate in reconciliation activities and investigations.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Maintain accurate ERP records and perform root-cause analysis.
  • Assist in special projects related to supply chain optimization.

Job Summary

The Associate Inventory Analyst at CareFusion 303, Inc. is responsible for supporting the optimization of inventory levels and ensuring the efficient flow of materials to meet customer demand and business objectives. This role involves data analysis, reporting, and collaboration with various departments to maintain inventory accuracy and reduce excess or obsolete stock.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist in the analysis of inventory data, including sales forecasts, historical demand, and lead times, to identify trends and potential issues.
  • Generate and maintain inventory reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track inventory health and performance.
  • Support the development and implementation of inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams to ensure accurate inventory planning and timely material availability.
  • Participate in inventory reconciliation activities and investigate discrepancies.
  • Help identify opportunities for inventory reduction, cost savings, and process improvements.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records within the company's enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
  • Perform root cause analysis for inventory-related problems and recommend corrective actions.
  • Assist in special projects related to supply chain optimization and inventory management.
Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in inventory analysis, supply chain, or a related analytical role, preferably within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas) is required.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy.
