Job summary

77 consultants seeks an Associate-level Internal Medicine physician for a full-time, on-site role in Mooresville, NC. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat adult patients with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions in a collaborative, high-standard clinical setting.

You will work with experienced professionals, use Cerner EHR, and participate in quality initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and physician well-being.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an Internal Medicine residency.
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in the applicable state; DEA registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to adult patients in outpatient and on-site settings.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, infections, injuries, and other conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient history and test results.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures such as labs and imaging.
• Prescribe medications and therapies and monitor progress.
• Coordinate care with specialists, nurses, and other clinicians.
• Educate patients on preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with regulations.
• Participate in quality improvement and case reviews.
• Adhere to healthcare regulations and patient safety standards.
