Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academics.
• Experience in patent prosecution and IP counseling in a law firm or similar.
• Degree in engineering or related technical field.
• USPTO registration to practice before the office.
• Experience drafting and prosecuting US patent applications and managing portfolios.
• Experience with patentability, FTO, validity analyses; familiarity with trademark prosecution.
• Excellent analytical, writing and communication skills; client-service focused.

REQUIREMENTS

• J.D. from an accredited law school and strong academic credentials;
• Prior experience in patent prosecution and intellectual property counseling in a law firm or comparable environment;
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field;
• Registration to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO);
• Experience drafting and prosecuting U.S. patent applications and managing domestic and foreign patent portfolios;
• Experience conducting patentability, freedom-to-operate, validity, and landscape analyses is preferred; and
• Familiarity in trademark prosecution
• Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills
• Candidates should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, collaborative, and committed to providing outstanding client service.
