Job summary

CAPITOL REGION EDUCATION COUNCIL's Discovery Academy is seeking a Full-Time Associate Instructor to support individual and group instruction, manage behavioral expectations, and handle various classroom tasks. Candidates may also provide targeted literacy or math interventions.

Experience with data collection and analysis is highly desirable, and applicants may be asked to substitute when classroom teachers are absent. A Bachelor's degree in education or related field is required.

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field is required.
• Experience with diverse population of primary-aged students in a public school is desired (2–5 years).
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents and teachers is required.

Additionally, associate instructors may be required to provide targeted interventions in literacy or math. Experience with data collection and analysis is highly desirable. Associate Instructors may also be called on to substitute when classroom teachers are absent.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in education or related field. Previous experience (2-5 years) working with a diverse population of primary-aged students within a public school is desired. The ability to work with others and to communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers is also required. Early childhood certified applicants are encouraged to apply.
