Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie Company Inc. is seeking an Associate Inside Sales Representative for our Columbus, OH location. You will answer the queue phone, provide pricing and ship dates, and input orders into the system. You will also extend technical help when possible.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, and may benefit from prior customer service experience. Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, and MS Word is expected, with ability to work in a team and in a fast-paced environment.

As an Associate Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for servicing the customer by handling all types of customer problems and request as well as processing orders. You will be training on our products in order to answer customer questions as well.WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (% of Time)Answering the queue phone and providing customers with requested information including pricing and ship dates. Input orders into the computer. (80%)Provide technical help when able. (20%)DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEIf you can do everything listed above, you’ve got what it takes.
