Associate Infor M3 Manufacturing Business Consultant
As an Associate Infor M3 Manufacturing Business Consultant working within the Infor M3 business line at Columbus, you will be part of a team who will play a critical role in supporting our clients to drive customer success in the US and internationally. In this role you will deliver high quality consultancy to customers including project implementation and post go-live solution support for the Infor M3 Cloudsuite product and associated services. You will assist with active implementation project work to gather requirements, configure, and test. These services will be delivered primarily remote to clients.
Note: This is a remote opportunity and can be based from any location in the United States. #LI-Remote.
As an Associate Manufacturing Business Consultant, you will:
- Provide implementation consultancy and application best practice advice to maintain and expand client relationships through delivery of high-quality services.
- Configure client business solutions and make ongoing recommendations.
- Develop and execute test plans and test software configurations.
- Achieve engagement objectives while providing regular internal reports on the status of projects to key stakeholders.
- Train users and develop training resources and documentation.
- Provide on-going support to end users, assisting with trouble shooting or additional training via email, phone or site visits.
- Resolve customer issues that have been logged through the Global Service Desk, within Support Service Level Agreements, by telephone, email, remotely or in person.
- Perform root cause analysis and incident management to minimize future issues.
- Provide consultancy services including but not limited to User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Configuration, data changes, ISV setup and coordination, specification writing, testing, data migration, and go-live support.
- Analyze and deliver estimates related to project work
- Effectively liaise with customers and third parties to ensure prompt resolution to issues.
- Carry out assigned tasks to a high quality and comprehensive standard, achieving high customer satisfaction in accordance with the entered contractual agreements and the scope of the project, escalating as required and with a focus on quality.
- Understand and apply Columbus’ formalized methods and procedures for support, and project implementation, contributing actively to the ongoing development and implementation of these to improve the customers’ experience and to further business objectives.
- Update the relevant helpdesk and internal software systems accurately ensuring that all support issues and project related tasks are up to date to enable effective conclusion by any member of the team.
- Work within the parameters set out in Customer Contracts, Service Level Agreements and Customer Operations Procedures.
- Experience and familiarity with Infor M3 Cloudsuite ERP stack.
- Commercial knowledge and awareness of business economics.
- End-user experience in an Infor M3 customer environment is a plus.
- Training design and delivery experience.
- Must have a general level of education or equivalent industry experience.
- Ability to provide excellent levels of customer service in all aspects of role.
- Ability to build strong customer relationships, empathizing in order to gain customer satisfaction and trust.
- Analytical mind set to diagnose problems, find solutions and possible work arounds.
- Ability to remain calm and composed, maintaining an understanding and diplomatic approach, even when dealing with stressed or unhappy customers.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Ability to travel up to 25%
Preferred Skills or familiarity in any of the following a plus:
- Certification in Infor M3 Cloudsuite modules or equivalent.
- Knowledge of other ERP, BI or related ISV products.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
