Fusion Packaging, part of AptarGroup, Inc., seeks an Associate Industrial Designer to join our Product Design team in New York. This temporary role may transition to permanent full-time based on performance and business needs.

You will develop packaging concepts, prototypes, and 3D visualizations under the Creative Director. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience in industrial design and a strong beauty packaging sensibility, with proficiency in Adobe Suite, SolidWorks, and KeyShot.

Qualifications

• BFA or MFA in Industrial Design or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of industrial/product design experience.
• Beauty brand/packaging experience or strong industry sense.
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite, SolidWorks, and KeyShot.
• Exceptional 3D modeling and visualization skills.
• Experience with 3D printing and prototyping.
• Strong storytelling and presentation abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to brief diverse audiences.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects independently.

Responsabilités

• Translate objectives into innovative packaging concepts.
• Develop custom packaging designs for beauty brand clients.
• Visualize ideas through compelling product presentations.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales and design teams during the process.
• Create packaging prototypes using 3D printing and other methods.
• Turn market insights into internal product analyses.
• Maintain on-brand design language with high attention to detail.
• Contribute to long-term design strategies and company growth.
• Work within tight deadlines and manage workload efficiently.
