Responsibilities
- Maintain direct bill receivables and correspond with business associates on open receivables
- Research and respond to customer inquiries via phone or email
- Identify and resolve policy and billing issues
- Analyze and interpret various accounting journals, policies, and procedures
- Prepare Journal Entries
- Perform SOX compliance duties
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor(s)
Qualifications
- Keyboard 35+ wpm
- Basic proficiency of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong relationship building abilities
- Customer service skills – professional telephone etiquette, empathetic communicator, problem‑solving and analytical abilities
- Team player with good work ethics
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances
- Performs well under pressure, meets deadlines, and completes tasks promptly and reliably
- Manages high volume of work in a multi‑task environment
- Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills
Experience
- Associate III – High school diploma and 2 years general office experience
- Senior Associate – 2‑year college degree (or equivalent) and 3 years general office experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Accounts receivable, collections and/or insurance experience
- Guidewire Billing Center experience
Special Circumstances
- May require periodic overtime
- Location requirement: candidates must work in the state of Hawaii upon hire (Oahu)
Salary
$39,000 to $55,800 annually.
